Ryan's practice is focused primarily on complex commercial disputes. He has successfully represented several regionally prominent general contractors and subcontractors, as well as local and specialty builders. In addition to his construction clients, Ryan has represented business owners of all sizes, including two of the largest automobile dealerships in Central Texas. Prior to the practice of law, he worked for more than a decade representing a major health insurance carrier in its contract negotiations. Ryan takes prides in his commitment to listening to his clients, gaining an understanding of their unique challenges, and then providing them with "real world" solutions to their problems. This approach to practicing law is of critical importance to business owners, especially in this challenging economic environment.

Ryan was born in New Hampshire, but he got to Texas as soon as he could. For his undergraduate studies, he attended McMurry University in Abilene, where he graduated second in his class. In pursuit of his law degree, Ryan attended Baylor University and graduated with a Juris Doctorate, cum laude. While in law school, he was a member of the Baylor Law Review and was Managing Editor of the school's online law journal. Ryan also completed Baylor's well-known Practice Court Program, sharing the top grade with one other student.
