Adam W. Vanek

Adam Vanek has earned a reputation for being a lawyer with business sense.  Before attending law school, he was an international banker for the Sumitomo Bank.  Adam’s real world business experience and finance background has earned him high marks from clients for approaching their challenges with a balanced legal strategy.  He is admitted to practice law before all state courts in Texas, the District of Columbia and all Federal Courts in Texas.  Adam earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University where he received the prestigious Buck Weirus Spirit Award and was a College of Business Administration Fellow.  He earned his Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University Law School where he served as President of Phi Delta Phi, and was a member of the Honor Council, Student Trial Bar, and Moot Court. 

Adam began his legal career as a transactional attorney focusing on high-tech startups, mid-market mergers and acquisitions, and contract negotiations. Today, he is an established business trial attorney who has been interviewed by KXAS-TV, KLIF-AM, and the Dallas Observer and has been quoted in the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.  Texas Monthly named Adam a 2009 Texas Rising Star in Business Litigation.  He also frequently blogs about legal gambling and gaming law. 

Adam is an active community volunteer and has served on several non-profit civic boards.  He is a member of 2010 Leadership Dallas sponsored by the Dallas Regional Chamber, serves as the 2010 President of the Texas Junior Chamber and is a member of the Park Cities Rotary Club.
