Matthew R. MummMatt joined the firm in March 2008 after several years practicing general civil litigation and insurance defense law in McKinney, Texas. During that time, he represented both corporate and individual clients in connection with a wide variety of lawsuits including premises liability actions, automobile and trucking accidents, first-party insurance claims, construction defect claims, and products liability actions. Since joining Nowak & Stauch, Matt has represented clients in connection with residential construction disputes, premises liability claims, nonsubscriber actions, and trucking accidents. Matt was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina in April 1980, and moved soon thereafter to Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. In 1990, he and his family moved to Plano, Texas. Matt attended the University of Texas, graduating with a B.A. in Government in 2002. In May 2005, Matt received his J.D. from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Matt passed the Texas Bar Exam and received his license to practice law in the State of Texas in November 2005. He is admitted to practice in all courts in and for the State of Texas, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Matt is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association, and has performed pro bono legal services through the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program. |
