Nathan P. Hauber

Nathan P. Hauber grew up in Overland Park, Kansas. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance with a minor in Marketing. While at the U of A, Nathan served as President of the Gamma Upsilon chapter of the Sigma Nu Fraternity and as Vice President of Finance on the Interfraternity Council. He also interned at Tyson Foods, as a Business Operations Development intern at their world headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas. Upon graduation, he remained in Arkansas, working for General Mills before moving to Dallas, Texas in 2019 and enrolling in law school at Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law.

At SMU, Nathan performed pro bono work for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, providing free tax preparation services to low-income filers. He also volunteered with Texas Law Help, providing online resources and Legal Aid information to those in need from all Texas counties. He also interned for the law school’s COVID-19 Legal Helpline, assisting in various landlord/tenant and contract disputes during the early days of the pandemic. Nathan also competed for SMU in the 2022 Tulane International Baseball Arbitration Competition.

During law school he worked as the legal clerk for Nowak & Stauch, PLLC. Gaining exposure to various areas of law, including legal malpractice, medical malpractice, and commercial construction disputes. Upon graduation, Nathan returned home to Kansas City, where he spent time handling a wide range of personal injury and insurance defense cases. Nathan also spent time practicing bankruptcy, where he gained experience in consumer bankruptcy and student loan relief. Nathan has since returned to Nowak & Stauch and will be sitting for the February 2023 bar exam.

In his free time, Nathan enjoys spending time with his fiancé and their two dogs, playing golf, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.
