Litigation.

Real estate, both residential and commercial, is a unique and valuable commodity.  A dispute over the title, use or damage of real property is very often a personal issue, and can be determinative of its planned use or development. Our lawyers have represented property owners in condemnation actions filed by local governments, and have litigated misrepresentation, DTPA and fraud claims on behalf of individual buyers and sellers of residential property.  We have successfully defended our developer and homebuilder clients against claims of breach of contract and negligent development practices, and have likewise sued to enforce the right of specific performance in connection with individual and multiple lot tracts.

Transactional Assistance.

We can assist with the negotiation and drafting of contracts for the sale, purchase or lease of residential or commercial real estate.  Additionally, we have associations with other lawyers who specialize in the representation of land developers and homebuilders in the acquisition, development, and sale of real property.
